Gore-Tex! (Dedicated to my brother Larry.)

"Don't let the rain stop you," Larry says.  Just get some Gore-Tex.  (I suspect he may be a stockholder.)

Okay, technically, I'm wearing "Omni-Tech".  And yes, it did keep me dry,

except for my Garmin, which I trust is waterproof ....

and my shoes, which are now drying on the heat vent.

  1. Do you overheat? My jacket for wet weather doesn't let me breath and I get icky with sweat...

  2. I didn't overheat too badly because the temp was still quite cold and I only ran a measly 3.25 miles. Next time I'll dress lighter underneath but I sweat no matter what I wear. You must have inherited your lively glands from me. Sorry 'bout that.

  3. Gore-Tex is a waterproof and breathable material used in outerwear. Omni-Tech is basically the same thing, just with a different trade-marked name. Thanks for asking!!

  4. I still have the Gortex running suit my dad gave me when I was in high school! The pants are great for snow too.
